BRA wine barrel device range
Barrel cleaning devices with dirty water suction
The Moog BRA range of wine barrel cleaners were invented specifically for the purpose of cleaning wine barrels and caskets back in 1999. Since then over 5,000 devices have been sold world-wide. These rotary, 360-degree cleaning devices are manufactured to a high Swiss standard and are a very effective tool for getting excellent cleaning results in your barrels. They come in a range of models to suit your requirements and will clean barrel sizes from 225 litres through to 600 litre barrels. The larger barrels do require a suction foot accessory to go with your BRA device.
These devices are also powered using standard industrial pressure washers as long as they can delivery 13 to 20 litres per minute at 80 - 120 bar. We can also assist you with a suitable pressure washer.
BRA Simplex
Barrel washing device
For single barrels & barrels in rows
The most basic of the range, the simplex will clean single barrels, barrels in rows, barrel sizes of 225-300 litres (up to 600 litres barrels with a suction foot accessory).

- Bunghole size up to 37mm
- 95 deg C max temperature
- For 225–300-litre barrels
- 300–500/600-litre barrels with suction foot accessories

BRA Reference

For single barrels & barrels in rows
The BRA reference is the most popular wine barrel cleaning device in the BRA range. This barrel cleaner will clean single barrels, barrels in rows, barrel sizes of 225-300 litres (up to 600 litres barrels with a suction foot accessory).

- For 225–300-litre barrels
- 300–500/600-litre barrels with suction foot accessories

BRA Reference Flex
Barrel washing device
For single & stacked barrels (225–300-litre barrels)
The BRA Reference Flex has a flexible shaft for manipulating into wine barrels that are stacked on top of each other. However, this limits it for us only with barrel sizes of 225-300 litres. It can of course be used for barrels in rows or singularly stores next to each other.

BRA HD (Hydraulic driven)
Barrel washing device
For single barrel
The BRA HD is driven only by water (hydraulic drive) and has no electrical power supply. The nozzles rotate via water pressure. This wine barrel cleaning device also cleans single barrels, barrels in rows and barrel sizes of 225-300 litres (up to 600 litres barrels with a suction foot accessory).
